Prasad Productions, the banner that was established by L V Prasad, introduced Kamal Haasan to Bollywood and the star has long association with the house. That is why he graced as the guest for the audio launch ceremony of the production house’s new film titled Rushi. Starring Aravind Krishna and Supriya Sailaja, Rushi is being directed by Raj Madiraju and produced by Ramesh Prasad.
"Because of my long association with the doyens of the Indian film industry like L V Prasad, I did achieve something in my career. We used to have long discussions about the moviemaking in those days, thus I have learnt the craft of filmmaking,” Kamal Haasan said after unveiling the audio albums.
Ramesh Prasad said great actors like Kamal Haasan have played great role in the development of Prasads Group. “This film and subject is very close to my heart,” he said
D Ramanaidu who also graced the event wished the movie a great success as the production house is producing films, a gap of three decades later.
The film's music is composed by the trio Snigdha, Raj, Chandran and the lyrics are penned by Krishna Chinni.
